We offer our pupils a high quality of education, accessible to learners of varied abilities and different learning styles, whilst taking into consideration their social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs.
The school is designated for 225 pupils with learning difficulties, and SEMH needs. Many pupils also have Autism Spectrum Conditions and communication difficulties or ADHD.
Good news: The obstacle course has been successfully overcome; and now pupils are on their way back to school.
Exciting news: Bower Grove has again been awarded the Gold level of the National SMSC Quality Mark following a visit on 24th March by John Rees from Young Citizens. The SMSC award is recognised for the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development in the school and is about helping our pupils to develop a range of personal and social skills that helps them to become well rounded and responsible members of society. Thank you to all the parents, carers and pupils who helped us to achieve this. John commented, 'It is clear from the compassionate relationships observed, and the pride throughout Bower Grove, that the school has developed an ethos of warmth and care, in which students and staff, can flourish'.
