We offer our pupils a high quality of education, accessible to learners of varied abilities and different learning styles, whilst taking into consideration their social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs.
The school is designated for 225 pupils with learning difficulties, and SEMH needs. Many pupils also have Autism Spectrum Conditions and communication difficulties or ADHD.
'What is anxiety' guided talk. Our next Bower Grove guided talk for parents/carers is on Friday 31st January. Sasha Pay from NEFLT will be explaining what anxiety is, how it presents itself in adolescents and ways to support. From the Kent Family Hub: Moving up group for ages 8-11 at InfoZone family hub from 3:30 to 5pm on Wednesdays. Parents drop off their children and usually pick them up afterwards. BOOKING IS REQUIRED.
From the Kent Family Hub: Chill and chat drop-in for ages 11+ at Parkwood family hub from 3:30pm to 5pm on Fridays. Young people can just come along, they don't need to bring a parent. No booking required.
A reminder that we are celebrating 'improved attendance' for Hedgehogs class and 7H, with an own clothes day TOMORROW (Fri. 24 Jan). This is for Hedgehogs and 7H only, and is optional.
